We are seeking a highly specialized AMI Engineer to drive the deployment and technical integration of Advanced Metering Infrastructure across our UAE utility projects. This role demands a unique blend of electrical expertise and digital communication proficiency. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of smart grid systems—from testing and commissioning smart meters (LandisGyr, Itron, Iskraemeco) to configuring complex protocols like DLMS, RF Mesh, and NB-IoT within Head-End Systems.
The ideal candidate brings at least 4 years of UAE-based experience, specifically working with 11KV–33KV distribution equipment and ADDC substation standards. Beyond hardware, you will leverage a modern tech stack (including Python and AWS) to ensure secure, data-driven utility management. Mandatory requirements include a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, valid TAQA/DEWA/SEWA certifications, and a UAE driving license.
