• Locations: Negombo & Vavuniya

Job Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly targets by actively growing the branch’s Gold Loan and pawning business.

• Evaluate and appraise gold articles while negotiating advances with customers according to established guidelines.

• Plan and implement efficient operations and promotional activities for the pawning/Gold Loan business.

• Maintain gold quality standards and ensure a zero level of fraudulent, dud, or overrated articles.

• Oversee operational integrity and maintain necessary records for the pawning/Gold Loan process.

• Resolve customer complaints and manage compliance and regulatory mandates.

• Handle loan recoveries and auction processes efficiently and on time.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Gold Loan or Pawning within the banking or finance industry.

• Education: Full or part qualification in Banking, or completion of a recognized professional qualification.

• Skills: Sound knowledge of gold loan procedures and the ability to accurately assess jewelry.

• Additional Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.

• Age: Candidates should be below 30 years of age.

• Advantage: A proven track record of performance and achievement.
