Hiring – Assistant Manager – Corporate Credit Cards

Job Profile

  • Product Strategy & Portfolio Management:

    • Develop and execute product strategies for Corporate and SME Credit Card portfolios.

    • Refine card propositions to ensure competitiveness and value for corporate clients.

    • Maintain an optimal product mix balancing profitability, risk, and customer value.

  • Portfolio Performance & Analytics:

    • Monitor key metrics such as activation rates, spend per card, utilization, delinquency, and retention.

    • Generate actionable insights through data analysis to identify growth opportunities.

    • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance profitability and customer engagement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Support:

    • Serve as the subject matter expert on Corporate Credit Cards for internal teams like Sales and Corporate Banking.

    • Collaborate with sales and relationship teams to drive card acquisition and usage.

    • Provide product training and guidance for effective selling.

  • Business Growth & KPI Management:

    • Drive achievement of KPIs including Cards-in-Force, activation rates, and portfolio growth.

    • Implement initiatives to increase card penetration within corporate clients.

  • Market Intelligence & Product Development:

    • Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking.

    • Identify emerging trends and innovation opportunities to enhance product features.

    • Work with cross-functional teams (risk, marketing, technology) to launch or improve products.


Applicant’s Profile

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, applied mathematics, or finance.

    • Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA are recognized.

    • An MBA or a degree in Marketing is highly preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years of experience in Product Management or Business Development.

    • Specific experience managing corporate or high-net-worth (affluent) client segments.

    • Prior experience in the Payment Card industry within banking or Fintech is strongly preferred.

  • Technical & Analytical Skills:

    • High level of data literacy with the ability to translate datasets into growth strategies.

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, CRM platforms, and Card Management Systems.

    • Expertise in product lifecycle management and portfolio analysis.

  • Professional Competencies:

    • Exceptional communication and influence skills with a track record of driving cross-departmental collaboration.

    • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to market trends and regulatory details.
