DFCC Bank is seeking a seasoned Credit Analyst to join our Corporate Banking division. This role is central to maintaining the bank’s credit quality through rigorous financial evaluation, risk assessment, and the structuring of complex lending proposals for corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit Evaluation: Prepare and evaluate comprehensive credit proposals in alignment with internal policies and service standards.

• Risk Assessment: Conduct in-depth financial and industry analyses to support lending decisions and credit recommendations.

• Deal Structuring: Structure loan proposals and recommend specific covenants and risk mitigants to safeguard the bank’s assets.

• Portfolio Monitoring: Identify early warning signs of credit deterioration and review existing facilities to mitigate potential risks.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Support relationship management teams in evaluating and obtaining approvals for new or enhanced credit facilities.

• Compliance & Efficiency: Ensure the timely turnaround of proposals while maintaining strict compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A degree from a recognized university or a full professional qualification in a relevant field (preferably with a class/distinction).

• Experience: A minimum of 06 years of post-qualifying executive experience specifically in credit analysis, banking, or a related finance function.

• Financial Literacy: Advanced technical capability to analyze financial statements and generate accurate financial forecasts.

• Macro-Awareness: Ability to assess business viability by evaluating economic, political, and industry-related risks.

• Market Insight: Sound awareness of current industry trends, market conditions, and the broader economic environment.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration between internal stakeholders and corporate clients.
